Participate
There are a number of ways that you can help make Park(ing) Day DC a success:
Manage a space.
We will be doing a number of spaces this year, and we need dedicated people who can manage each space. This includes setting up the parks. Email us your contact info at participate@parkingdaydc.org.
Volunteer your time.
Maybe you can’t get off of work for the day. Can you spare an hour or two? You’ll get to meet have fun in the park, spread the word and meet some new people. Email us your contact info at participate@parkingdaydc.org.
Donate.
Not just money. If you can donate a chair, table, bench or even plants for the parks, drop us a line at participate@parkingdaydc.org. Of course you can financial donations as well. This will help offset the costs of materials, permits, etc.
